About Us

Gaza English Coffee and the eTwinning Gaza initiative were established as a humanitarian educational response emerging from the heart of the harsh reality in the Gaza Strip. A group of young, passionate female educators and activists came together, united by a strong belief that education is a fundamental right that does not collapse under bombardment and should not be postponed because of siege. The initiative was born from a deep conviction in the role of Palestinian girls and young women as agents of change, capable of leading the learning process even under the most difficult circumstances.

The institution focuses on providing free educational opportunities for girls, particularly those living in marginalized and underserved areas of Gaza, by utilizing distance learning technologies such as Zoom, Skype, and Google Meet. These platforms offer a fast, low-cost, and accessible way to reach girls who are often unable to attend traditional classrooms due to security, economic, or social challenges.

Gaza English Coffee and eTwinning Gaza go beyond teaching English language skills. Their mission includes building self-confidence, strengthening communication skills, and creating opportunities for educational and cultural exchange with the wider world. The institution strives to create a safe, supportive, and inspiring learning space, grounded in the belief that investing in girls’ education is a direct investment in community resilience and future recovery, and that Gaza—despite its wounds—continues to generate knowledge and hope.
