Gaza English Coffee and the eTwinning Gaza initiative were established as a humanitarian educational response emerging from the heart of the harsh reality in the Gaza Strip. A group of young, passionate female educators and activists came together, united by a strong belief that education is a fundamental right that does not collapse under bombardment and should not be postponed because of siege.
We aspire to build a humanitarian educational model from Gaza to the world—one that redefines education as a fundamental right and a powerful tool for liberation, healing, and future-building. We envision a learning environment where girls are empowered to learn, express themselves, and communicate with confidence despite conflict and siege. We believe in an education that safeguards childhood, preserves identity, nurtures hope, and shapes thoughtful, knowledgeable leaders capable of creating meaningful and positive change within their communities and beyond.
Gaza English Coffee and eTwinning Gaza are committed to providing free, safe, and flexible educational opportunities for girls in the Gaza Strip, grounded in the principles of educational equity, empowerment, and psycho-educational support. We harness technology as a bridge to knowledge and global connection—not as a substitute for human presence—by creating digital learning spaces that are sensitive to learners’ social and psychological contexts.
